Brandon Pratt

Owner

Brandon Pratt is an entrepreneur, restaurateur, and real estate developer with more than 22 years of experience in commercial real estate, hospitality, restaurant operations, and large-scale development projects. A licensed Realtor since the age of 19, Brandon has built a diverse portfolio spanning restaurant concepts, entertainment venues, mixed-use developments, apartment communities, and commercial real estate projects across the Midwest.

As the founder of Lion Development Group and Gravy Train Restaurant Management, Brandon has played a key role in the ownership, development, and operation of multiple successful restaurant and entertainment concepts throughout Iowa and the Midwest. Under his leadership, the organization owns and operates 12 highly successful Pizza Ranch and FunZone Arcade locations, helping transform several locations into some of the top-performing family entertainment and restaurant destinations within the franchise system.

Brandon is also a co-owner of two of North Liberty's most recognized hospitality destinations — Field Day Brewing Company and Tin Roost — both of which have become premier dining, entertainment, and community gathering destinations in Eastern Iowa. His passion for creating memorable guest experiences, family-focused entertainment environments, and community-driven destinations continues to drive the growth of the organization.

In addition to hospitality and restaurant operations, Brandon has led a wide range of real estate development projects including raw land acquisitions, multifamily housing, commercial retail centers, mixed-use developments, and entertainment complexes. Collectively, Lion Development Group has built a reputation for identifying opportunities, executing projects efficiently, and creating developments that positively impact the communities they serve.

Brandon's leadership and entrepreneurial success have earned him numerous recognitions, including being named the 2025 Corridor Business Journal Entrepreneur of the Year, Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa Entrepreneur Honoree, and inclusion in the CBJ Iowa 500 list recognizing Iowa's most influential business leaders.

A lifelong North Liberty resident, Brandon remains deeply involved in the community through business mentorship, philanthropy, and service organizations. He previously served on the board of 100+ Men Who Care (Hawkeye Chapter) and currently serves on the board for Junior Achievement of Eastern Iowa.

Outside of work, Brandon enjoys spending time with his family, attending church, golfing, hunting, fishing, cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes, and supporting his four boys in their sporting activities.
